FIRST READ ON PEP: Mark Bautista joins the cast of GMA Films' "Sundo"

Sa Monday, August 11, ang pictorial ng first horror movie ni Robin Padilla, GMA Films' Sundo, from the same creative team that brought Ouija—writer Aloy Adlawan and director Toppel Lee. Makakasama ni Robin sa movie sina Sunshine Dizon, Rhian Ramos, and Katrina Halili in a special role.
Viva Films offered their male talent Mark Bautista. Libre ngayon si Mark dahil ASAP ‘08 lang ang pinagkakaabalahan ng singer-actor. Around September pa naman sisimulan ang shooting ng Baler ng Viva Films, kung saan kasali rin si Mark. Pagkatapos magkaayos ng schedule, tinanggap ni Mark ang pelikula sa film arm ng GMA-7, na competition ng kanyang kinaaanibang network.

Mark Bautista co-stars with Rufa Mae Quinto in upcoming movie

Sa katapusan ng February ay muling aalis ang singer-actor na si Mark Bautista, kasama ang grupo nina Sarah Geronimo, Rachelle Ann Go, at Christian Bautista para sa 11-city concert tour sa U.S. Buong buwan ng March ay wala sila sa bansa at sa April ang balik nila.
Sa pagbabalik ni Mark ay agad siyang magsu-shooting para sa pelikulang may tentative title na Singles para sa Viva Films, kung saan makakasama niya si Rufa Mae Quinto. Biniro ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Mark na dapat ay kasama siya sa tell-all interview ni Rufa Mae para sa YES! magazine dahil na-link din sila dati. Pero sabi ni Mark, mabuti na lang at hindi siya isinama dahil wala naman daw anything intimate na naganap sa kanila ni Rufa Mae.
MANILA, Philippines—Before joining the talent search “Star for a Night” five years ago, singer Mark Bautista was a third-year Architecture student at the Cagayan de Oro College and Engineering School. Although he quit school when show biz beckoned, his background came in handy when it was time to build his dream home in Quezon City.
When the interior designers from IBA Design Group submitted their concepts, Mark was able to put in his two cents’ worth. “I designed the spiral staircase,” he recounts. “Originally, the motif was ocean waves. But I suggested circles [as design pattern] on the railings since that corner is semi-circular.”
From a slew of shades that the designers presented, Mark chose olive green for the accent wall.
